  Using a responsive theme is one of the main ways to create a mobile friendly site — this means it automatically resizes to fit the device it is being viewed on. The Academia theme you are using is not responsive (and is also retired) so you may want to browse some of our newer, responsive themes here:

  Clicking on the 3 dots > Try & Customise to get an idea of how each work behaves on smaller or larger devices.
