My website has a 404 error message when I want to log in
-
I was trying to move my website from my subdomain to my main domain name. So i went into settings and changed the WordPress Address Url and the site address url to my main domain name. Now whenever I try login I get a 404 message and If I type in my subdomain url it brings me to my old website on my main domain. Please help me. I worked super hard on the website and really dont want to lose it. I’ll give you a good review or whatever you want if you can fix this for me.

It sounds like you have a self-hosted installation of the WordPress.org software, not a hosted site at WordPress.com. (See https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ for more information about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org.) This forum is for support for WordPress.com hosted sites — support for sites running the WordPress.org software can be found at https://wordpress.org/support. (I will say, though, that you have do more than just change the URLs in the settings in order to move your WordPress installation to the new location.)
