My website has been lost/deleted for me
-
I have had a website running for a year, and built it in WordPress, hosted it elsewhere, but suddenly it has been deleted from my WP account and instead this message appears: You don’t have any WordPress sites yet. What happened? Is it retrievable?
I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

Hi there!
Can you let us know the URL of the site where you’re having this problem? Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise.
Thank you!

Hi there, that is not a site hosted here at WordPress.com. Instead, it’s a site using the software from WordPress.org and hosted at NameSilo.
So, you’ll log in through https://www.anettecook.com/wp-login.php instead of us.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
WordPress.org has complete documentation at https://wordpress.org/support/ and support at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
With that said, if you’d like to manage your WordPress.org site through WordPress.com, that is one of the features of the Jetpack plugin: https://jetpack.com/support/getting-started-with-jetpack/ :)

thank you,
but I don’t seem to have an account with the .org version of WP, whereas I do here on .com, and the link above takes me to the same broken page pop up that says
“This connection is not private” This website may be impersonating “www.anettecook.com” to steal your personal or financial information. You should close this page”

If you’re referring to https://WordPress.org itself, that’s entirely separate from how you log in to your WordPress.org site and from WordPress.com.
You’ll log in to your site at https://www.anettecook.com/wp-login.php for now it’s safe to skip that warning in your browser.
Once you’re in, the folks at WordPress.org have some options for you at https://wordpress.org/support/article/https-for-wordpress/
