my website has just disappeared and I want to know how to fix it

    My website just disappeared about a week or so ago. It comes up with ‘this page isn’t working’. In checking my email it looks like some random guy with the email (email visible only to moderators and staff) sent me via my contact form saying my domain would be terminated within 24 hours if I don’t pay to renew. But this is not my service provider, and my service provider still shows my url and domain hosting as being active and paid up. I think I’ve been hacked. Can someone suggest where I might go to get this fixed ? or how I might get my website back up?

    I checked your site and although your site is connected to WordPress.com via Jetpack, it is using the open-source WordPress.org software and you need to seek help at these forums:

    These forums are for WordPress.com-hosted sites only. Since we do not have access to self-hosted WordPress.org sites, we are unable to provide any direct assistance to your issue. I would reach out to your site host for help. The nameservers are saying Syra Host – does that sound familiar?
