  Yesterday I started setting up a website with Wix. I got as far as the first page and the site went live. At that point I logged out because I didnt know how to continue. I hadn’t set up a domain name yet. Since then I watched a tutorial for setting up a website through Hostgater. I followed instructions and registered a domain name. I paid 10.23 for their servives.When I tried to download WordPress I had difficulty. I do not know if I have one Word Press account or two. Can you straighten this out for me? My domain name is ceoloperabath.com. you can call me if you like, (redacted). My name is Jane Ceol and email is (email visible only to moderators and staff).

  It’s important to understand the differences between
  WordPress.com Vs WordPress.org so, please visit: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  The site which you’ve mentioned uses WordPress.org open source software and hosted by Hostgator, the right place to ask the questions relating to your WordPress.org site is the WordPress.org Forum or you can contact the Hostgator support.

  When I tried to download WordPress I had difficulty. I do not know if I have one Word Press account or two. Can you straighten this out for me?

  If you’re using Hostgator as your host then it has their own dashboard from there you’ll able to install the WordPress.org software directly instead of downloading it manually.
  And, so the account you create on your WordPress.org site is unique for your site, it means each site you create using WordPress.org are different.

  Creating an account on WordPress.com or WordPress.org is different from your site.
