my website hosting lapsed at godaddy

  I want to switch from go daddy hosting, but the website they had I can not ‘reactivate’ without paying $150. Where can I find my website? Or is it only held ‘hostage’

  Hi,

  It sounds like your domain expired and you were not able to renew it in its renewal date, You might find it expensive or hard to retrieve it at this point.

  Hi there,

  We can’t help regarding a domain you bought from GoDaddy. If you have a domain with them that expired and that is now in redemption, the only way to get it back is to pay the redemption fee. It works that way at all domain regsitrars.
