My website is a WordPress site – But I don’t seem to find the account here

    Hello, I have a wordpress website that I paid a company to make a few years ago, I have admin writes and a username a log on but I don’t find it here – does that mean I actually don’t have a valid wordpress site? I though I paid something each year for WordPress, can you help me?

    Hi there,

    All it means is that you don’t have a site hosted on WordPress.com.

    The company likely used the open source WordPress software, found on WordPress.org, and installed it at another hosting provider. Sites like that have no connection to WordPress.com, unless you explicitly make that connection using a plugin.

    If you can tell me the site’s URL, I can tell you who is hosting it for you so you can contact them for more help with it.
