  My website is down… it says ‘Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress.’

  Hi there,

  Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider.

  Please contact your hosting provider directly for help with this as they control the PHP version on your server.
