My website is down; domain was originally registered with wordpress

Hi,
I had a website called intimatesky.net. It was begun with wordpress.com and then i switched it over to wordpress.org with the help of the folks at Siteground. My website is down and the domain registration is the issue; wordpress is the one I originally registered it with. I had no warning this would happen, no indication from anybody I would have to take additional steps. Now my email address ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) is bouncing personal emails and only selectively receiving newsletters and such. Very strange. I need this situation remedied. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi loverunderwater,
The domain intimatesky.net is owned by intimatesky. Please login to that account and reply here. Once you’ve done that, I’ll be happy to help.
Thanks!

Hi intimatesky,
intimatesky.net expired on 2017-03-20 and is currently in the redemption period:
You can still try to recover the domain but an $80 redemption fee will need to be paid in addition to the regular domain renewal costs ($26). If you agree to these costs I can generate a payment request for the amount. Once that has been paid, we can start the process of trying to get your domain back.
If you do not want to pay the fee, you can wait until the domain is released but you may not be able to get it back if it is purchased at auction during this time.
I checked our system and renewal emails were sent — if you didn’t receive them, they may have gone to your spam folder.
Please let me know what you would like to do.

I don’t have the money to do that right now. I was only checking my new email address (which is now down), not the one I set up this account with.
If I pay this amount, you say we can start the process of “trying” to get my domain back…. But it might not work?
How long until the domain may be released? As soon as I have the money I need to try to get it back but I just can’t right now…

Yes, there is a chance we won’t be able to recover the domain. However, we stand a greater chance if we act quickly. If recovery fails, you will be fully funded for the redemption fee and domain costs.

The domain will be released approximately 80 days after the domain expired, although this length of time can vary.
