Table16restaurant.com is completely gone. Now it just says ‘wordpress hosting by synthesis’ and when I log in, the website isn’t here. What happened and how do I get it back? My restaurant can’t survive without the website.

We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
(1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
(2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.Also, note that we do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.com/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

This is 100% not true. I’ve never logged into wordpress.org and my email address doesn’t work to log in there. I CAN log in to wordpress.COM but it still says I have no websites.

What I posted is 100% true and correct.
We do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.com/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.

I can email my “welcome to wordpress.COM” email to anyone who can help me to prove that wordpress.org is not what I am dealing with.

Staff work their way through support tickets and forum threads tagged for their attention by dealing with those that have the earliest date and timestamps first, then moving forward to deal with those that have the most recent date and time stamps. Hi @table16gso, I’ve confirmed you don’t have any sites hosted here on our servers. You signed up for a WordPress.com account a while ago but did not create a site here.
Also, you wouldn’t have to have a WordPress.org login to create a WordPress installation — your host may have even set it up for you. If the error I see is correct, though, they are a managed WordPress hosting service, so if you’ll get in touch with them directly, they can likely help you sort this out.
Also, if it helps, WordPress.com is not the same thing as WordPress.org . One is a site hosting service, and the other is free software. If it helps, it’s a bit like the difference between a restaurant and a recipe. You are not currently using WordPress.com services, but you are welcome to go ahead and create a new site here. You can get started at https://wordpress.com/start/
Or, if you want to try the forums for WordPress.org installations, head on over to https://wordpress.org/support . You may need to create a login and password to access those forums. Good luck!
