My Website is Inaccessible

  Hello, I created http://mangascan.epizy.com with WordPress free hosting a year ago. In the last week, I retook the project and saw the traffict went really well. The problem is that yesterday, when I woke up, my website was inaccessible. I don’t know why. I didn’t even get a email. It has problem HTTP ERROR 500, so it is due a host/server problem. Can you fix it please?

  Hello @migueru981!

  WordPress free plans typically have a URL like mysite.wordpress.com. WordPress.com is a multi-site that hosts many sites, so a 500 server error would likely impact several sites, not just yours.

  Are you sure you created your site here on WordPress.com? Or was it perhaps a self-hosted WordPress.org install (which is also free)?

  Hello, I don’t really remember where I got the free hosting. It uses wordpress.org, so might be a host that doesn’t belong to wordpress. In that case, how can I see where and why I have this error?

  If I do a Whois lookup for epizy.com I see that some of the name servers point to Byet.org, but the main domain epizy.com leads to Infinty Free – If you have access to the email address that would have been used to set any of this up, you could try searching your inbox for Byet, WordPress, or Infinity Free to see if that brings up any results regarding the hosting. If it were me, I’d try contacting Infinity Free first to see if they can help, or at least point you in the right direction.

  Since this does appear to be a WordPress.org install, if it presents further issues you could try posting in the WordPress.org forums – the volunteers there are more experienced with these sorts of things. :)
