My website is making reference to a deleted mobile menu

  I was trying to use wp mobile edition for my website mobile view. But decided against. So I removed the plugin and custom menu. But my website is still making reference to the removed plugin and menu. I know this because when I click on a menu that wasn’t list in the custom menu, it returns error 404 page not found in the removed mobile menu background. Pls, how can I completely remove/reset the wp mobile edition version and menu? Thanks
