My website is no longer visible

Hello. I have had my website live and running for approximately ten years. My website “back2healthmassagetherapy.ca” was originally set up via an acquaintance of mine using wordpress. I rarely go on or into the website (possibly 2 or 3x per year to update information). I use it to provide information for my patients and also it has a link to access my online calendar via another web service. I have tried to update the site myself using some plugins but have limited knowledge when it comes to this. I recently have tried to display my website but it comes up as a “database error”. I also have tried to login to my WordPress account to see if I can access the site to see if I can make any changes but can not access it. I would gladly appreciate any assistance or information please. Thank you. Mario Aniceto.

  • Hi,

It looks like your site is using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but is hosted with another webhost.

We’re only able to provide support for WordPress websites that are hosted by us here at WordPress.com. For help with a WordPress site hosted elsewhere you’ll need to ask over at the WordPress.org forums:

    https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

Depending on the level of support that is included with your hosting plan, your webhost’s support team may also be able to assist.

If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and the open-source WordPress software you can read this article:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org
