    I got my domain name through bluehost. I have contacted them, but they said it has been suspended. Could you tell me why? I am trying to get my page started. Thanks!

    Hi there!

    We don’t have any special insight into why, but when your domain is suspended, it typically means that the registry suspended your domain name because you failed to verify your email address or the contact details have been modified for the domain and still require verification. This applies to all gTLDs (Generic Top Level Domains) such as .com, .net, .org, .info, etc.

    This verification is done annually to ensure your contact information is up-to-date.

    There is a 15-day window during which you must verify your domain contact details. If you miss the 15 days and fail to complete the verification process, your domain name will be suspended. This is controlled by ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) and you can read more about this process here:

    You should reach back out to Bluehost support and they should be able to help you update your information to remove that suspension and get your domain working again.
