My website is producing phishing or hacked results on click (you’ve made the 5-billionth search)
-
When anyone clicks my website on mobile 50-75% of them get a pop-up page with a message saying ‘you’ve made the 5-billionth search’
How do I get rid of this! -
What is the URL of the site in question? Do you have any upgrades on it that would eliminate ads?
-
Not sure what you mean about the upgrades. It’s just a small site with a handful of clicks a week.

I had to check to see what kind of software you’re using. You’re using WordPress.org software, and this is the forum for WordPress.com software. We can’t help you solve that problem here, but they can help you at https://wordpress.org/support/
I have a hunch it’s spam code in your mobile theme, but it could be something else. They’ll know better than me.

Oh. Word. Thanks much! I’ll check out the other forum.
And thanks for taking the time to reply.
