my website is showing as "This webpage is not available"

  I just created a new website, salzberg-lab.org, using WordPress. I’ve been tweaking it for almost a week and everything has been fine. But for the past hour (or more), I cannot go to the site – my browser tries to connect but eventually fails with a message that “This webpage is not available”.

  I have tried re-loading the page, using another browser to load it, and going to another computer and trying there. Same results every time.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  The domain salzberg-lab.org is working correctly on my side in Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. Have you tried clearing your browser’s cache?

  Thanks for the reply. I still don’t know the answer but the problem is apparently in my building, not at WordPress. I figured this out by ssh’ing to a remote machine and xhosting the output back to my desktop, and then running Firefox remotely on the other site. Over there the site worked. So now I will pester my building’s site admin.

  Actually, I do have a followup. My network admin tells me that my site was blocked by our blacklisting service (threatstop.com). They say this is because WordPress hosts many sites through the same IP address, and if one of them is bad, then all of them get blocked. This means that many other sites might be blocking my site (and numerous other WordPress sites).

  They suggested that you contact threatstop.com to determine why you are on the list, so you can get off it. Separately from that, they suggested that I ask you if I can get my own IP address to avoid this maybe happening again – is this something you can provide, maybe as an upgrade? I already have the upgrade service that gives me my own URL and no ads.
