My website redirects to https://en.wordpress.com/signup/? and I cannot change it

  This is just a fairly new site that I created in WP, I initially set the configuration to private so that it won’t be seen by anyone. Then when I add pages and posts. I noticed that it redirects to a different URL whenever I preview it.

  Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

  There’s a wide-spread issue evidenced by the multiple active threads on the front page of this forum and beyond reporting the same issue since yesterday morning.
