My website tags / descriptive words – not coming up on google search

    Hi. Its been a week since I got my domain & activated my website yet in Google search no one can find my website unless they know my exact website name. I paint gothic cathedrals & want to get noticed & have included a list of words in my page titles / headers that should direct ppl to my website if they just type in lets say: paintings, cathedrals, oil on canvas etc. Please help as am getting desperate. Also, when I tried to sitemap a page from my website the Error comes on saying: sitemsp is HTML and pls use a supported sitemap format instead. No idea what this means! Thank you
