my website was down , said expired , why does this happen?

  my website was down , now read it expired , why does this happen?
  I had no warning , nothing to say i had to renew, it just closed down .
  Please could you let me know why this happened?

  Hi, is this for pamhogg.com? I noticed you used to have mapping and it expired a few days ago because it was not renewed. We do try to notify via email.

  The site pamhogg.wordpress.com still works, though, so if you’d like to re-map the domain, no problem. You’ll just want to add a plan again, then add mapping (which is free with the plan.)
