My website was hacked

    Hi,
    When I visit my website I get a page that is obviously not mine (date single ladies and things like that). When I log in to my WordPress account it says –top left– ‘This site cannot be accessed’ and it gives me the option to ‘disconnect website’. I checked with BlueHost, everything is in order and paid. On WordPress as well. If I use my Admin URL i get a page (very similar to the hacked website) that says ‘the domain has expired’ (+ ‘renewal instructions’ button).

    What happened & what can I do to get my website back online?

    It sounds like you are talking about a self-hosted site using the standalone WP software.

    For help with your standalone install, you’ll want to head over to the support forums at https://wordpress.org/support If you don’t have a username there, you’ll need to register one.

    WordPress and WordPressDotCom are separate entities. You can learn more about that here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
