Keep in mind that these forums assist users of the WPcom platform.
For help with a site using the open source WP software, you’ll want to head over to https://wordpress.org/support/ where you’ll find documentation and users who have more experience with the software you are using. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.
Just to clarify, this support forum assists users hosted on the WPcom platform.

no error messages… it says “Update successful!” and then nothing happens the site is drycreekranchandstable.com it is hosted by siteground.

I even tried to create a whole new page instead of just editing an existing one. and I can’t publish it… well it says I can and when I push “publish,” it says it’s successful… but nothing changes

In this case, you’ll want to check in with the ORG forums I mentioned in my earlier reply. Since they have a different log in system, you may need to register an account there in order to post.
