I just was let go at my workplace and my email on the account foleymediagroup was that work email which I cannot access anymore. How can I get in and clean up my profile and content. (email visible only to moderators and staff)

Hi there! If you go to your WordPress account (you can get there by clicking your icon in the top right corner of your window), and then click on Account Settings, you can change the email associated with your account– just be sure to click Save! :)

That’s interesting. I would think that you’d be able to login to a different site using the email; it’s not as though you’re logging into that email account. Was the site run through your job?
I’m not sure what to do otherwise, so I’ll flag this for WordPress staff help.

What site are you trying to access? The Gmail address you gave is associated with this WordPress.com account, username, bigtimecreative. The fact that you can post here means you are already logged in.
If you have a different account with a different email address, you’ll need access to that email address to reset the password. If you don’t have access to the email address any more, you’ll need to verify your ownership via one of the methods required on our account recovery form before we’ll be able to give you access to the account:
If you’re unable to provide any of the verification info we won’t be able to give you access to the other account.

Bigtimecreative was the company that created my initial content many years ago. the site it used for creation was foleygroupwordpress.com.
I haven't used my account for a year but want to get it going again. When I try to sign it, I used foleymediagroup, the name of the current site. Something weird happens and it sends me to foleygroupwordpress.
My guess is that foleygroupwordpress.com, which I can get into, has the same email as foleymediagroup. So when I try to get to foleymediagroup, bigtime media sneaks in there.
Thus I can't reset my password.
Can I do some sort of authentication through my phone?

The same email address cannot be used for more than one account on WordPress.com, so that’s not possible, no.
The domain, foleygroupwordpress.com, does not appear to be currently registered, and that domain has never been connected to any site hosted on WordPress.com.
There is no username, foleymediagroup, on our system, nor does there exist a site with the address, foleymediagroup.wordpress.com. If you are certain that you signed into your site with the username, foleymediagroup, then you most likely had a self-hosted WordPress site with a different hosting provider.
If that’s the case there is nothing we can do, as self-hosted sites are not connected to our system and we have no access to it. You’ll need to contact the hosting provider on whose servers that site was hosted and hope that they still have a backup of your site in their system.
