How do I use an image from Flickr in my Image Widget?

  the pictures are coming from flickr. Can you help?

  This is because the address Flickr give you in your browser address bar isn’t actually the link to the picture, but to a specialized page.

  In order to use an image from Flickr in your image widget:

  • Go to the image page on Flickr and click on the image
  • Select the ‘View All Sizes’ in the lightbox that pops up
  • Select which image size you want to use (if you have more than one size for the image)
  • Right click the image and choose ‘Copy Link’ or ‘Copy Link Location’
  • Paste that into your image widget’s ‘Image URL’ box
  • Sacrifice a chicken and do a rain dance to please the Flickr gods
  • Make a drink and pat yourself on the back :-)

  I’ve done one image for you – the ‘Three Months’ one, which is, by the way, super cute!
