My widget menu jumped to the bottom!
-
Dear WordPress Peeps,
Our widget menu jumped to the bottom! I have hade this problem with other blogs but was able to fix it by editing HTML, CSS, and the width of posts. I tried editing my post widths in a few cases, as I assumed they were wide (althugh they had not affected anything before today), and if course, my girlfriend and I do not want a pay account at this time, so we cannot edit the code. What canI do? Please do not send responses to the email registered with the site; send it (if that is what you do) to [email removed – don’t feed the spammers] please.
Thank you,
“Carlo”

NEVER post your email in the forum. Not only will we not respond that way, but spammers will go wild with it.
Also, always do a search or look in the forum tags for an issue, because it’s likely been covered before.

Please paste the exact URL of your blog when asking questions here – or link your nickname to your blog as explained in the Sticky 8 Things to Know. We usually need that to give a relevant answer or find your blog more easily. And as raincoaster says, search the forum first: the sidebar-at-the-bottom problem is one of the most ferquently asked questions.
You’ve got an unclosed html tag in your latest post. Go to the html post editor and remove this from the beginning:
<div class="mceTemp">
If you want to make sure this particular cause of the problem won’t crop up again, go to Settings>Writing and check the option “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically”.
