My Widgets Won't Work

So I’ve recently made a Halo blog and I’m trying to add a Halo game to my sidebar widgets. I copy the code for the game and paste it into a text widget, but as soon as I save it, the code just turns into a couple of links. This happens for all widgets on all websites, how do I get it to work?

WordPress.com is a type of shared environment, where all users are running off of the same software. There are code restrictions here and the software strips out some codes to preserve security and stability.

Right and JavaScript will be stripped out by our software to preserve security and stability on this multiuser blogging platform, so this is a no go. If it’s a deal breaker for you then your alternative is to hire a web host and set up a WordPress.org install.

I’m sorry but you will have to. However, you can post a link to it in a text widget in your sidebar if you want to.
