My wife has passed away – deactivation of website, how?

  I need help with one question:
  Unfortunately, Michelle, my wife, passed away last week and has a website michellewerning.wordpress.com.
  Will that website be deleted whenever her account is deleted?

  Hi Thorsten,

  I’m really sorry to hear about your wife.
  We do not delete sites or accounts when that are not used so the site will keep online unless you delete it. If you delete the account, the site would be removed as well.

  Thank you very much for your compassion and your explanation.
  Since I do have access to her account, I will delete it.
  I do not need to transfer the account and go through that process then.
