My wordads income gets worse the more ad impressions I have.

For May I had about a 100k impressions with ok earnings. Then with June I had like 8k impressions and somehow made more than that.
Then with July I had 800k impressions, and made about a fifty of what I made in June – which had 100 times less impression than July. T_T

Advertising rates fluctuate constantly. The online ads system is similar to the stock market where advertisers bid in real time.
Rates are vastly different depending on the country the viewer is visiting from. Unless you have the same exact number of visitors from the same countries every single month, you’ll never be able to calculate a consistent rate just by Earnings vs. Impression totals.

Alright, the earnings aside, the impressions seem to be buggy. I just checked it again, and it went down to 150k impressions – not to mention, that really suspicious 8k for the second month. Can you guys check if everything’s ok on your end? I’m just worried something might have broken.
Also, most of my viewers come from US. Your stats program says so every day. And it’s not by a small margin either, since there”re always more views from US than the entire top 10 visiting countries. (According to wordpress.)

Regarding the July impressions, we received some faulty data from one of our advertising partners which created hugely inflated impressions for the month. That has now been fixed, which is why it dropped from 800k to 150k.
The June impressions are a lot lower, but it’s accurate. As I explained, this fluctuates a lot, and at times advertisers just don’t bid on ad space, which will cause impressions to drop.
Another factor is people using ad blockers. That prevents ads from showing on your site, meaning that traffic doesn’t generate any impressions.
