  There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we cannot install plugings, or upload third-party themes, or edit templates or themes. Those plugins and themes found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.

  If you want to have a blog you have FTP access to, plugins and/or want to install themes into then you will need to hire a web host and set up your own WordPress.org install. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
