My wordpress blogs are still not showing in google- after 6 weeks.

    Hi ,

    Since moving our blog onto WordPress 6 weeks ago we have not yet appeared on google for any of our blog articles. It looks as though this has still not been indexed. We have submitted both our sitemap and URL and yet our word press blog is still not visible on google. We have plenty of time for this to be indexed by google and so there must be another more complicated reason why our wordpress blog is not visible in search. Please let me know why this has happened and what needs to be done to rectify this ASAP.

    Hi @hannahcorneliajames,

    I just ran a Google query with keywords blog.corneliajames.com and could see that your blog has been indexed. The pages/ posts of your blog appeared in the search engine results page.

    It may take time though, before it starts ranking higher on various keywords. That process would depend on Google. I would recommend reading the following articles (and the links within them) to ensure your site performs better in Search:
