My wordpress has different features to others

  I am new to wordpress, I have the silver package. I google or youtube how to do certain things but I never have the same features as the people in the youtube videos. For example, I’m trying to add a custom menu. I have read online and seen on youtube that i go to Appearance –> Menus. When I go to appearance, all i have is Themes, editor and customise.

  Am I missing something here? Do I have a different plan?

  I can clarify the differences that you’re seeing. Looking over the account, I see you have a premium hosting plan on moneysavvyreviews.com.

  Those videos are likely made for folks using the WordPress software on a different host, commonly called WordPress.org.

  We can start with the menu which you’ve already outlined for us. There are 2 categories of themes. Themes using the traditional editor (with customization options) will find their menu at My Sites – Appearance – Theme. You will insert a navigation block to create a site menu instead when using a newer one with more customization options.
