My WordPress is not at all working properly. (I know this sounds very dumb.)

There are quite a few problems that I have been facing. Just to provide context, I have only used WordPress for 3 days. I started by getting a ‘.com’ domain and opting for web hosting service from Hostgator. After that, I installed WordPress for my site through the cpanel service provided by my hosting service.
From the first moment, I have been facing a lot of problems and being so new to the field, it is getting hard for me to survive. Although I tried checking hundreds of past posts by different people and tried applying the solutions in my situation, but none of them seems to solve my problem.
Here are the specific problems that I am facing.
1.) The ‘Theme Customiser’ is not working properly. I wanted to use the theme Ocean wp but when I tried customising it, I was led to a ‘blank screen’. All the customiser menu options were missing. As suggested by different public forums, I tried deactivating all the plugins; I ensured that my WordPress was updated to the latest version; I also deleted my site and tried re-installing wordpress thrice. But all my efforts went in vain. Then I tried installing other themes. After a lot of failed attempts, I could finally find a theme (‘Sydney’) for which ‘Customising’ was working. It still doesn’t work properly and shows me the same ‘blank menu’ problem often. Plus, It takes like forever to load.
2.) The Plugins are not working properly: The plugin elementor is not able to load at all. I tried everything to troubleshoot the problem. I tried disabling other plugins, changing the theme itself, updating stuff etc. But nothing worked.
3.) The overall load speed of the dashboard is really slow: From toggling in dashboard, to using theme customiser to doing anything as admin of the site, everything is really really really slow. I have to wait for like 15-20 sec just for my dashboard to load. Then doing stuff in it is another ‘Task’. I can’t figure out what the problem is. I have a reasonably good internet connection speed (40-45 mbps) and a reasonable good laptop (Macbook Pro 2018 8 gb ram, 256ssd) and I don’t think that my own hardware should be a problem. I even tried using different browsers like Safari, Firefox, Opera etc. I even tried opening my dashboard on my other Dell laptop, but the experience is just as slow. It gets quite frustrating.
Since I am so new to this field, I can’t figure out anything what might be causing problems like these. Could it be my ‘hosting company’, ‘wordpress’, or am I doing something really messy/wrong? I am just not able to understand. I wonder if you can help me get out of this, or at least guide me in the right direction of what I should be doing next. Help in any capacity would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Your question doesn’t sound dumb, and your English is fine!
However, it looks like your site, pawzoned.com, is using a self-hosted WordPress.org setup. Note the difference: WordPress.com and WordPress.org
This forum provides support for sites hosted here on WordPress.com. So you’ll need to post on the WordPress.org Support Forums for help with pawzoned.com. You may need to create an account over there if you don’t have one already. 🙂
