I want to revive my page, which is tied to my professional domain. There was quite a bit of content on the page and its posts… and it is listed in professional directories. The email I used to set up the page is no longer in use, so I was caught by surprise when the page disappeared. Does anyone at WordPress ‘track’ what happened to pages and when? How do I communicate with such an entity?

It sounds like you may need to go through an account recovery process.
Please review the following information on account recovery and see if it helps you out:
“If you’ve misplaced your log-in information, the email address or username you’ve entered isn’t recognized, and you haven’t enabled Two Step Authentication, you can access your account using the Account Recovery Form…”

It’s impossible to help if you don’t provide us the URL of the page in question. The only site in your account is https://daragur.wordpress.com/, and that site is not at a custom domain. In fact, the account you’re using to post here has never owned a domain on WordPress.com.

Sorry folks… my error. I was under the impression that forums were amongst WordPress users and that no WordPress personnel were involved. I did not post my WordPress site URL because I didn’t think providing that information would make any difference.
The “missing” WordPress website (which I’ve had for about 8 years before it disappeared) is http://photostigmata. com
Please let me know if this information is helpful (with hints about what to do next).
Will posting my email address in this forum make me the target for unwanted email from crooks & spam merchants?
My old email addresses which might be associated with this site (and I’m not sure which it was as my records are incomplete) are either (email visible only to moderators and staff) or (email visible only to moderators and staff)/

The domain photostigmata.com is not registered with us, but appears to have been registered with GoDaddy.com since 2007:

That domain is not connected to any site or account on WordPress.com, so you most likely had a self-hosted WordPress site at that domain. If that site still exists on GoDaddy’s servers, they should be able to help you recover access to it.

As you can see, email addresses are automatically hidden on the forums, but I can still see them :)
The sover.net address you provided is connected to a WordPress.com account, username, michaelbix. If you’ve forgotten the password for that account, you can request a password reset link here:

Make sure you are logged out of this account first when you try that.
There is no WordPress.com username account associated with the second email address you provided.
