My wordpress site has been "hacked"

  My wordpress site’s pages have been permanently deleted and I don’t know who did it. I don’t know what to do or how to restore them. PLEASE HELP

  I have been here for 5 years and every time a blogger has claimed their site was “hacked” that proved to be untrue. What was true is they ignored the instructions that stated 1 Administrator per blog was recommended and assigned more than one. They chose easy to guess passwords and or left their passwords in places others could find it. They “telegraphed” enough information in their blog post that anyone could and did what their password was.

  What is the URL starting with http:// for the blog in question please?

  An Editor with an easy to guess password or one that just got upset could also be a problem.
