bdukes, thank you but I don’t understand at all…way to complicated for me. If I go to my site, that is all I see, is the site. This is MY site correct? The GODADDY hosting expired so where do I find my site in WP to make any changes and so forth?

Ok, I apologize ahead of time if any of this is not what you are looking for. And please help us with some further explanation if we are missing what is going on here.
It looks like you have a live site at http://www.ftlauderdalenewsblog.com/ and a domain that you would like to register here: http://ftlauderdalearearealestate.com/
It sounds like you are wanting to move the site at the first link to the second link, but the second URL has expired?
There are a few different tasks here that need to be accomplished:
1. To restore the URL ftlauderdalearearealestate.com You’ll need to purchase/register that domain. As of the writing of this post it is available. I just checked. You can purchase this through WordPress and have WordPress or GoDaddy or anyone else for that matter. For WP, log into your account and follow these directions:
For GoDaddy log into your account there and search their support for directions.
2. If you use WP, you can select which blog you have that you’d like the URL to be associated with. If you use GoDaddy, you’ll need to follow the directions posted above by @bdukes. It is a bit complicated but we should be able to help you work through it step by step. Let us know which step you get stuck on (even if it’s the first one!) and we’ll do our best to help!
3. As for editing your website, which website are you trying to edit can you send us the URL to the one you want to change?
The more information you provide on what you are trying to accomplish the better we can help!
