My wordpress website is down

  My website is down. I get the following messages when trying to deal with admin stuff
  – Error establishing database connection
  and
  – Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  That would be for a self-hosted WordPress.org site, which we really can’t help with here.

  To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
