My wordpress will not update on my server

    My wordpress will not update on my server thus Learndash the educational software will not update either. This is causing a huge challenge for me as a owner of a school and members site.
    My server is simplenet.com. I have been in contact with them and still working on it from that end.
    I have been in contact with Learn Dash and here is what they say:LearnDash is saying that your server needs to be upgraded:
    Current: PHP Version 5.6.37 – Needs to be upgraded to PHP version 7.2 or greater.
    Current: MySQL version 5.5.56 – Needs to be upgraded to MySQL version 5.6 or greater.

    I have contacted my webmaster and she said to contact you to see if you could find any solutions for me.

    Please let me know if you can shed any light on this challenge.

    Hi,

    I suspect that your website uses the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com, which is what this forum is designed to help with. Note the difference here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    You may be able to find help here: https://wordpress.org/support/ or alternatively contact your hosting provider.

    However, http://www.lorriehargis/members/ isn’t a valid domain. If you confirm the URL of your website, we may be able to advise further.
