    Hi ,
    my blog is called http://pauldohertyartist.wordpress.com/
My problem is that is that the blog is no longer shown when I access my wordpress account , ( so I can’t access the dashboard of the blog)

When I go into try and do an account recovery with the Account recovery form , I receive a note saying that the URL
    http://pauldohertyartist.wordpress.com/ is not a wordpress.com site , is it a wordpress.org?

But I know for a fact that it is wordpress.com , and I have retrived the wordpress activation e-mail and have even supplied the API key on the account recovery form.

I guess that the blog is disconnected from the account some how. Can anyone help?

    Paul

That blog isn’t registered under your ‘pablodoherty’ acccount. If you don’t have access to your account or forgot the password, you can request a new password by entering your @gmail.com here:

    http://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

Please follow the instructions carefully. You’ll receive two separate emails during the reset process, so make sure you read them both. If you don’t receive the emails right away, check your spam folders as well. The confirmation emails can get caught in them sometimes :)

    Hi Kardotim,

Thanks for replying to my query. I have requested a new password ,
I and have accessed my ‘pablodoherty’ account. However
this is not my the issue. ( I had no problems accessing ‘pablodoherty’) My problem , like you said ,is that the blog is not registered to this account. It was created under an earlier account, which unfortunately I no longer can retrieve, because I have lost user name and password. My troubles happened when I stopped using firefox as a browser (as it got unfortunately hijacked by bing). So I also lost all my book mark, settings and remembered passwords-Yes very bad practice , but I have learned my lesson now.
So is there a way to re-register my blog to my ‘pablodoherty’ account. Like I said I have the the inital wordpress activation e-mail and the API key
    Thanks, Paul

Please send the initial API key to us by e-mail. This way we can verify the blog ownership.

    Thank you!
