No. Not with WordPress.COM. We cannot use plugins here.
There are different and distinct kinds of WordPress platforms. Most of the information about WordPress that you find online is about WordPress.ORG, not WordPress.COM.
The free wp.COM hosted bloggers enjoy the benefit that staff provides the themes, widgets, and innovations. Wp.ORG folk have more choices and more potential problems so you will find more info online about all of that!

As I said, please be patient. There is obviously a problem with the way de domains are working / not working.
Staff has been notified. They are certainly working on the problem. It is nothing you did to cause the problem (I’d assume that because there are many others in the same situation), and therefore nothing you can do to fix it.
As a volunteer that is all I can tell you.

There is the same problem with my blog denkraum.wordpress.com .
It should not be denkraum.wordpress.de, but it redirects to that web address again and again.

Echt lustig oder? – Ich habe die selbe Seite in englischer Sprache erstellt und das funktioniert … Klingt fast so, als ob da ein automatischer Scanner drüber läuft, und uns in ne andere Schublade schiebt.

This issue should now be resolved for most folks, but if anyone’s site is still redirecting, please try re-saving your primary domain settings under Store > Domains to get things working again, or post the URL here and I’ll take a look. Thanks!
