My wp install is displaying two separate themes

My wp install is displaying two separate themes one of which is still being cached by c0.wp.com

I have an install that is displaying BOTH an old cached version with theme ‘a’, and a new live version displaying theme ‘b’.

This has been puzzling me for some time yet have previously not had time to investigate.

In trying to sort this out I synchronised settings in jetpack (which had not happened for 8 months), and cleared any caches I could find, including cloud flare.

As this did not help I have removed both jetpack and removed the site from the WordPress.com control panel, and yet both the new and old versions of the site are still appearing online.

when I use web inspector on the old version I can see that many wp files are being cached by c0.wp.com, and yet I cannot seem to clear them, whereas the live version all the wp files are on my domain theculture.net

    the install is at theculture.net/radio

    thanks

    Hi,

Cloudflare (Registrar:Tucows Domains Inc.) is the hosting provider..
    You have WordPress software..

You should head over WordPress.org forums.

    Thank you Shwetha

Yet I am here because jetpack had connected me to a free account here at wordpress.com, and I believe that the caching issue came from that install (presently removed).

Am I correct in that? presently a little confused.

    regards
    Simon

I finally resolved the issue by deleting all references to old caching plugins from my httaccess file.

    phew!

In order to activate Jetpack’s features, you need to connect to a WordPress.com user account. This does not create a site here at WordPress.com, so your connection would have zero impact on your website not hosted here with us. What you see here in your WordPress.com dashboard was your self-hosted website as one of Jetpack’s features allows you to manage your website from WordPress.com.

Back to the issue at hand – caching plugins, as you discovered, are usually the cause of these types of issues, so your solution was what needed to be done.
