  My writing cannot be published.
  Why do I get the following message when I go to post my writing.
  ‘Oops! Something went wrong. This user is not authorized to access publicize connections on this site.’
  Please let me know how to handle it.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  hello! sorry to crash on this forum but i just tried to publish my first post. The computer said my post has been successfull published but when I viewed it again a little while later, it disappeared. I tried visiting my WordPress page through another account but my post is nowhere to be found. Can you help me pls? I’m kind of new here. Thanks. http://www.eatreadfangirl.wordpress.com

  Hi @sumilee27,

  It looks like the LinkedIn connection on the blog you mention isn’t working properly. Can you disconnect and then reconnect it following the steps here?

  Hi Jeremy, I’m having a similar problem. I administrate a group blog (ywwb.wordpress.com) and when new users attempt to post to that blog, they get the exact same error: “This user is not authorized to access publicize connections on this site.”

  The error does not appear to impede any of the blog’s functions, or the users’ ability to post. Nonetheless, I’d like to get rid of it. Any suggestions?

  Hi @jaymills,

  Can you try disconnecting all of your services and then reconnecting them making sure to check the box for “Make connections available to all users of this blog” as shown here?

  I have no services connected on my blog — at least, as far as I can tell.

  @jaymills – You’re correct – My apologies! There aren’t any Publicize services connected to your account. Whenever this happens again, could you ask the affected user to grab a screenshot of the error as explained here?

  If they could upload a screenshot to the Media Library, that would be perfect!
