  Hello,
  I have bought domain thename.com.au and I would like to build my web site using WordPress.
  I’m using free version now so I have an extension myname.wordpress.com.
  I cannot understand how can I build my site with WordPress using the name I have bought. I only can see WordPress suggests to upgrade and get free name myname.com. But I already have the domain and I need to use and it has an extension domainname.com.au.
  I’m in the beginning of my way and some things are a bit confusing :) could you please direct me :)

  Hello @mindfulmassages,
  You can map the domain you bought to your WordPress.COM site/blog by following the instructions given in this support guide:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/

  NOTE:
  You will have to upgrade your account to a paid WordPress.COM plan to be able to map your domain. There’s no free option to do that.
