You can definitely register your own domain with WordPress.com. You’ll need to upgrade to Premium and a domain is included with this. There’s more info here:

It’s not possible to install plugins on sites at WordPress.com for security reasons. However we have installed the most popular plugins as widgets. What functionality are you after and I can let you know whether this is possible on WordPress.com.

We don’t have the “Revive your old posts” plugin but we do have Publicize which will automatically share posts to all your social media networks. You can read more about this here:

We specifically do not allow plugins for security reasons. But the benefits of this are that sites on WordPress.com practically never get hacked and you also don’t have to worry about updates conflicting with one of the plugins.
