  I just remove over ten widgets that mysteriously reappeared on my blog.

  one including the “twitter” widget that I have never used.

  Three include old rss widgets I used, over a year in a half ago, when this Blog was still anonymous.
  (this really confused readers that know me personally today).

  and a bunch of empty text widgets.

  Would like wordpress to please be careful if it is tinkering with its back up servers.
  Reappearing old material that is no longer wanted, is quite a distraction
