MySite has disappeared
-
I am all of a sudden unable to edit my site. If I search the site, it all comes up the way it should. However, if I go into WordPress, nothing I have done is saved including all of my plugins and all of the set up I have done thus far. Please help me fix this as I have purchased the use of the site, it shouldn’t just disappear!!!

Hey! I had a site, almost completely done, if I Google it, I can find it (homebody-bliss.com) but if I log into my WordPress so edit the site it’s as if I’m starting all over again! Please help me figure out what happened here.

Hi there!
Can you tell us the address of the site so that we can look it up? You have a free WordPress.com site at this address
homebodyblissblog.wordpress.combut it still has the demo content, so you probably have a different site that you are referring to.Please share the address of the site so that we can look into it.
Regards

Hi there,
I’ve merged in your other thread you created where you provided the domain.
The site at homebody-bliss.com is not hosted on WordPress.com. That’s why you don’t see it in your WordPress.com account.
That site is made using the open source WordPress software, and is hosted at Namecheap.com.
To manage that site, you need to log in using your admin user credentials that were created when you installed the WordPress software on your server with Namecheap. Those are stored directly in your site’s database, and have no connection to your WordPress.com username account that you’re using to post here.
If you’re not sure what those admin user credentials are, Namecheap support should be able to help you reset them.
You can also look at the password reset instructions for your version of WordPress for info on the different methods you can use to do this:
