MySQL DB Errors

I and posters to my blog get the following errors fairly often, it seems – although their posts do go through, is there a problem with WP? I’ll also get this error with very large posts.
WordPress database error: [Lost connection to MySQL server during query]
SELECT * FROM wp_comments WHERE comment_ID = ‘16174’ LIMIT 1

You do not appear to have any contents in your wordpress.com blog. Therefore, I’m wondering if it’s possible that you should be directing your request for support to the wordpress.org forum?

Agreed, I’m afraid you’re in the wrong place for this as we run a different code base here that the downloaded version of WordPress. Yo need to ask your question over here.
Do note though that you are being told in the very first line though what the issue is. Your MySQL database is not picking up for some reason. Yo may want to talk to your host about the issue.
