MySQL version
-
Yesterday I posted that I could not access my site because I made a mistake when trying to re-direct from my existing website to my wordpress site. The response I received basically said you would not help me because my site is hosted elsewhere. I think I understand the difference between wordpress.com and wordpress.org. So I went to godaddy.com and found the file functions.php file that I had incorrectly changed, removed the new code, saved the file. Now when I try to access my site I get this message:
‘You cannot update because WordPress 3.2.1 requires MySQL version 5.0 or higher. You are running version 4.1.26.’
The MySQL version running at godaddy.com is 5.0, not 4.1.26. I don’t understand why this is still not working.
I’ve tried going to wordpress.org to post this, but I can’t find a place to add a new post. The directions are to log in the the administration panel, click on posts, and add new. There is no administration panel in wordpress.org, only in wordpress.com.
Will someone please help?

You still need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG. You need to open a new account over there to be able to post a question.
You should address your questions to WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using: http://wordpress.org/support/
