  I just started a wordpress.com blog and blocked search engines and have done no marketing, etc. Yet I’ve gotten about 90 hits (no comments). Any idea where these come from?

  If we had a link to your blog we’d be able to tell. Are you using tags and/or categories? Those can bring you hits via WordPress.

  If you go to “My Dashboard” up top and then click on “Blog stats” it should give you some insight into how people are getting to you.
