Mystery postst to my blog
-
Blog Posts from the Cochrane Collaboration, a health research group based in Europe, are somehow ending up on my blog. I have no idea how this is occurring or how to stop it. I have changed my password, and I have 2-step authentication. Please advise.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Vik,
Could you please pass along a link to a blog post from the Cochrane Collaboration group so I could see this in action?

Hi Jeremy
Here you go: http://khannaonhealthblog.com/2014/06/25/revman-5-3-now-available-training-webi/

Hi Vik,
It looks like you added that post on 6/25 here:
https://khannaonhealthblog.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=2264&action=edit
Did you not add that post to your blog?
-
I did NOT post it to my blog. I do not follow the Cochrane blog, and I know no one there. So, I am completely mystified as to how this ends up on my blog. There have been five other mystery posts like this in the past two weeks, and they never happened before that.
I will be out for the evening, but will communicate with you tomorrow.
Thanks.

Here is another one that just appeared about two hours ago, out of nowhere.

Hi Vik,
It looks like the links within these posts are coming from Hootsuite, a social media app, judging by the URLs (ow.ly…). Hootsuite allows individuals to connect their WordPress.com account and post to their blog from the Hootsuite app. Do you remember connecting your account to Hootsuite sometime in the past?
You can check by navigating to this page when logged in:
https://wordpress.com/settings/security/
If you’ve connected the Hootsuite app, it would be listed there. Clicking the gear icon next to Hootsuite and clicking “Revoke Access” should clear this up if this is the cause.

Brilliant. I use HootSuite. I will disconnect immediately. Thank you so very much for your help.
Vik.

Great Vik! I’m glad we were able to get this resolved. Please let me know if you need anything else.
