Mystery site is mirroring my blog content
-
I run the blog http://www.glutenfreeinlondon.com . I noticed that I was getting a few hits from a site called http://www.glutennot.com , which when I looked at it, appeared to be an EXACT COPY of my blog. I am very puzzled as to how this could be…this other domain is nothing to do with me, and I’m not sure how or why they would have mirrored my content. Am I missing something obvious here? How can I get rid of this mirror?
Thanks,
Issi

Hi there,
I’m so sorry about this. I’ve seen this a couple times before where someone copies another site. What they get out of it – I honestly don’t know. I took a look into the site: glutennot.com and found that it is not hosted through us; therefore, we unfortunately wouldn’t be able to take it down.
You would have to contact the host of that site:
http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/results.jsp?domain=glutennot.com
The nameservers appear to be pointing to Amazon hosting:
Name Server: NS-1365.AWSDNS-42.ORG
Name Server: NS-1778.AWSDNS-30.CO.UK
Name Server: NS-46.AWSDNS-05.COM
Name Server: NS-939.AWSDNS-53.NETI did a quick search and found their support page here:
