Mystery spike

  Today I have received more visits by 1:30pm EST than I have ever gotten in an entire day. Usually a spike can be associated with a link to my blog from some heavily trafficked site like slate.com or crooksandliars.com, but I haven’t found any incoming link. The only thing I noticed was a rather large number of searches on “George W. Bush” that led to my blog. However, when I google (or yahoo, etc.) “George W. Bush”, nothing comes up for my blog. This is obviously not a big problem for me, but I am mystified why it is happening. Any thoughts?

  i’ve experienced this with my blog before. i just put it as another one of life’s mystifying moments. lol =)
